The Handle Scraper Designed for Working Under a Microscope
ZARC Micro Shapers are Hedström-type H-files (scrapers) mounted on ergonomic handles, designed to completely clear the operative field. Unlike a classic H-file, their active part is slightly offset from the handle, allowing optimal use under loupes or an operating microscope without obstructing the practitioner's view.
Not to be confused with Micro Openers ZARC Micro Openers are K-files intended for locating canal entrances. Micro Shapers are H-files intended for cleaning and scraping canal walls—two different instruments, for two distinct uses.
Main Indications
- Cleaning the inside of the canal and removing debris stuck to the root canal walls
- Retreatment: removing gutta-percha residues or other obstructions in the canal
- Any situation requiring precise scraping of the walls under magnified vision
