Slimshapers are canal shaping instruments with significant flexibility. Like Blueshapers, Slimshapers have received a heat treatment which gives them flexibility and resistance.

The final shaping has a diameter of 25/100 and a taper of 4% with the ZS3.

The system combines three different heat treatments depending on the position in the instrument in the operating sequence.

The instruments must therefore be passed one after the other, always reaching the working length before moving on to the next in the sequence.

One of the disadvantages of heat treatments is the reduction of the cutting effect. By integrating the double heat treatment on the same file, the instrument benefits from better efficiency at the tip, while retaining its other properties for the rest of the canal.

So the tip of the ZS1 is no longer in Gold, but in M ​​Wire and the rest of the file in Gold.

The tip of the ZS2 is in Gold and the rest of the file is in Pink

Finally, the tip of the ZS3 is in Gold and the rest of the file in Blue.

Description

The Slimshapers PRO are the second instruments in the Pro family from Zarc.

The Pro family is that of double heat treatment on the same instrument.

  • The Slim Shaper 1 is made of Gold alloy with an M Wire tip
  • The Slim Shaper 2 is made of "Pink" alloy with a Gold tip
  • The Slim Shaper 3 is made of "Blue" alloy with a Gold tip

Their design allows for a less pronounced conical shape than that obtained with Blueshapers.

The final shaping has a diameter of 25/100 and a taper of 4% with the ZS3.

The operating protocol is obtained with 3 instruments which are lowered to the working length one after the other.

Usage tips :

  • Recommended rotation speed: 500 rpm
  • torque control: 4N

Please note: The shaping obtained with these instruments is less conical than that obtained with Blueshapers for example.

It is recommended to use the other products in the system, namely SlimShaper paper and gutta cones. Alternatively, use 4% taper cones.

The instruments are sold in individual, sterile blister packs in three lengths: 21, 25 and 31mm.

  • Blister sequence ZS1 / ZS2 / ZS3 6 instruments (2 sequences of three files)
  • Blisters of the same reference: 6 instruments.
