The Z Glider is a root canal pre-enlargement instrument.
Used in very fine canals, its use is recommended to facilitate the work of shaping instruments. Its manufacture in "pink*'* alloy and its variable conicity give it very significant flexibility and efficiency.
After exploring the canal with hand files #08 and #10, the Z Glider is used to pre-widen the canal along its entire length. This pre-widening reduces the stress on the shaping instruments, and thus further limits the risk of fracture.
We recommend its use in very fine canals, when the hand file tends to be constrained in the canal during exploration and one has the impression that it is forcing its way in.

The pre-enlarger designed for the finest canals
The ZARC Z-Glider is a canal pre-enlargement instrument for very fine canals. Its role is to prepare the canal before mechanized shaping instrumentation, reducing stress on rotary instruments and thus limiting the risk of fracture.
⚠️ The classic Z-Glider is now replaced by the Z-Glider EVO. Remaining units are end-of-stock items. For sustainable replenishment, we recommend switching to the Z-Glider EVO.
When to use it? After exploring the canal with K#08 and then K#10 hand files, the Z-Glider is used to pre-enlarge the canal along its entire length. Its use is recommended only when the hand file tends to be constrained in the canal during exploration — a sign that the canal is very fine and requires pre-enlargement before shaping.
Pink alloy and variable taper Made of Pink heat-treated NiTi alloy, the Z-Glider combines flexibility and cutting efficiency. Its variable taper allows it to adapt progressively to different sections of the canal, from the most coronal to the most apical.

J’adore ce Glider
De loin mon instrument fétiche.. Je pense sincèrement que tout praticien qui intégrera cet instrument dans sa séquence opératoire aura une nouvelle vision de l'endodontie. Après un passage de lime 8 puis lime 10 passez directement à ce ZGLIDER. Le traitement endodontique sera ensuite d'une facilité sans nom.
