Located between Geneva and Lausanne, on the shores of Lake Geneva, Deppeler designs and produces high quality manual dental instruments.
Created in 1934 by Arnold Deppeler, the company that bears his name has grown from generation to generation, passing on years of know-how and passionate work.
Today, the Deppeler brand has become a reference in manual dental instrumentation . Nearly 500 products for prophylaxis, periodontology, microsurgery, restoration and endodontics are distributed in around forty countries.
Between production technology and specialized craftsmanship
A company on a human scale, Deppeler is a story written by women and men who work together to offer the best instruments to dental professionals.
Weight, shapes, sharpness, ergonomics, resistance, flexibility, hygiene... With a requirement worthy of the Swiss watch industry , each product is the subject of in-depth reflection and multiple tests, based on the analysis of the needs of the practitioner , before being produced on site, according to a traditional manufacturing method meeting the strictest standards.
Over the years, the company has equipped itself with highly precise numerically controlled machines. Respecting traditional know-how, out of love for a job well done and attention to detail, the instruments are meticulously hand-finished by artisans.
From the loading of the raw material – an alloy with exceptional properties, specially defined by Deppeler – to the final finishing, all stages of production are carried out manually in-house and are subject to scrupulous control.
Total control of its production chain and its solid expertise in working with steel for medical devices allow Deppeler to manufacture unique standardized monobloc instruments, meeting all the criteria to meet the requirements of dental health professionals.
A dynamic of Innovation
Deppeler's mission is to create instruments that fit naturally in the practitioner's hand and allow them to perform their movements perfectly, effortlessly.
Since its creation, the desire to improve the practice and comfort of users' daily work has driven the company's activity. This dynamic of innovation allows Deppeler to remain attentive to its customers and to constantly adapt to developments in the dental industry.
Deppeler actively collaborates with dentists, university professors and dental hygienists to develop and improve its products. Deppeler is notably the inventor of the M23 universal scaler and titanium curettes for implants.
In endodontics, a long-term collaboration with the Style Italiano Endodontics group of experts has led to the creation of an instrument kit for apical microsurgery and a versatile instrument kit for endodontics .
An approach that respects the environment
Deppeler has always placed the interests of its customers and, more broadly, of society at the heart of its approach. Thus, it has been committed for many years to reducing the impact of its production on the environment.
Installed in low energy consumption premises, it also reduces its external energy needs by reusing 80% of the heat released by the production system to cool the site.
Products of natural origin (olive oil, demineralized water, lemon juice, soap, etc.) are favored during the manufacturing process.
Steel is a raw material that is fully recyclable, indefinitely. The raw material used by Deppeler does not contain any unwanted components and can simply be disposed of through the usual recycling route for metal objects. Steel scraps produced in the factory are systematically recycled.
As for the preformed packaging in which the instruments are delivered to customers, they are made of PET material and 100% recyclable.
