Product information
By Stéphane Simon
Material in the form of "putty" filling from the Bioceramic family based on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA).
This is a ready-to-use material, packaged in a syringe. There is no need to mix.
Radiopacity is obtained by adding Tantalum and not Zirconium Oxide. The very high radiopacity of Tantalum allows for very good radiopacity while retaining a maximum of active product (**47% active product,** 44% tantalum and 9% stabilizers) which makes it one of the most concentrated products in active product available on the market.
We recommend this material for the following indications:
- Retro obturation in surgery
- Sealing of floor or side perforations
- Apexification treatment
- Pulp capping and cameral pulpotomy
Technical description of the product
Description
The most concentrated MTA bioceramic on the market, ready to use
Neo Sealer Putty is the "putty" version of Neo MTA, marketed for over 20 years by the American company Avalon and distributed by ZARC since 2022. It is a ready-to-use material packaged in a syringe — no mixing is required. Simply take the desired amount from the syringe with a spatula, then shape it between your fingers to adapt it to the indication.
47% active product — the most concentrated on the market Radio-opacity is achieved by adding Tantalum, not Zirconium Oxide. For the same quantity, Tantalum is 20% more radio-opaque than Zirconium Oxide, which allows for a maximum of active product in the formulation: 47% active product, 44% Tantalum, and 9% stabilizers.
Clinical Indications
- Direct and indirect pulp capping
- Cervical pulpotomy
- Apexification
- Treatment of floor or lateral perforations
- Retrograde filling in endodontic surgery
Adjustable Consistency If necessary, the consistency can be adjusted by adding a small amount of NeoMTA2 powder to achieve a firmer texture.
