EDMax Finishers Neolix Files - NiTi Canal Finishing Instruments

The EDMax Finishers files, designed and manufactured in France by Neolix, are Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) canal finishing instruments with a constant taper (4%). Available in apical diameters of 30/100 and 40/100, they are ideally designed to complement the EDMax Shapers for the final and secure shaping of wider foramina.

Like the entire EDMax range, the Finishers instruments benefit from a unique manufacturing method: Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). Unlike traditional grinding, this process sculpts the metal by thermal subtraction via a wire, without any physical contact with the instrument.

• Extreme fracture resistance: The elimination of mechanical stress related to grinding removes the risk of structural micro-cracks. The files exhibit exceptional resistance to cyclic fatigue and torsional fracture.
• Dual action (Cutting & Abrasion): The EDM process naturally generates a rough surface on the file. This combines a clean cutting effect with strong abrasive power, facilitating the removal and evacuation of dentinal debris.
• Plastic deformation and flexibility: These constant taper instruments offer very high flexibility and excellent plastic deformation capacity. They perfectly adapt to the curvatures of the apical third without displacing the canal or creating a ledge.
