Endodontics is known to be a complex discipline. And its complexity lies in the details.
Because detail is important, and the information is multiple, it is difficult to find business software that is specifically dedicated to this discipline.
More than just French-language software, it is above all a solution adapted to the European practice of the discipline.
Endodata was born from the reflection and hard and continuous work of two endodontists, who today offer a solution intended for practicing practitioners, but which also allows the development of clinical research in the discipline.
A solution for the office
EndoData is a digital clinical support solution for endodontists. It supports practitioners at every stage of treatment by efficiently collecting clinical information. The automatically generated reports are then shared with the practitioner and the patient.
The idea behind this software is to take advantage of today's digital possibilities to make daily life easier for practitioners.
EndoData improves the quality of patient care while allowing the practitioner and his team to save an average of one hour per day.
In practice, even before their first visit, the patient creates their own file via a secure online form . The correspondent also fills out a questionnaire to which they can attach x-rays and which will be automatically integrated into the patient's file.
This way, the information is gathered and made available to the endodontist before the first consultation . Then, at each visit, the practitioner completes a form to which x-rays and photos are automatically added. All this data is used to generate a report at the end of each session in PDF format which is shared with everyone, including the patient.
After treatment, and in addition to the follow-up sessions, the patient can benefit from digital monitoring through recurring questionnaires which are integrated into their file and, if necessary, give rise to appropriate advice or early follow-up visits.
Processing support functions
In addition, the software has numerous features to assist the practitioner, such as recommendations, classification reminders or lists of examinations and tests that can guide the practitioner in their diagnostic process.
Using EndoData benefits everyone involved in care, from the endodontist to the patient and the contact person. The practitioner and their team save time and improve their quality of life. The patient is better monitored, feels it, and is more involved in their care. The contact person is informed in real time of the progress of their patient's care.
A facilitation for research in endodontics
Furthermore, the available data (currently more than 40,000 treated teeth) can contribute to clinical studies. This research is carried out in strict compliance with the confidentiality of medical data and the relevant laws. Several studies are underway, including one (ReOne) in partnership with the ReCol association, 10 university centers and 10 private practitioners which has already enabled the inclusion of more than 1,000 patients.
Thus, EndoData allows endodontists, whatever their profile, to provide better care, organize themselves better, communicate better and potentially participate in clinical research.
The equivalent software for implantology, ImplantoData, is currently being developed and is already in alpha testing by several practitioners. It will be marketed soon.
