Produits Dentaires is a Swiss company founded in 1940 on the banks of Lake Geneva, in Vevey by William Gehrig.
At the time, part of the premises had been sold by the Nestlé group which still neighbors them. Dental Products met the majority of needs expressed by the profession.
The quality and mastery of its own manufacturing tools remain one of the spearheads of Produits Dentaires. Through numerous and frequent trips abroad, William Gehrig has established a network of resellers in around a hundred countries.
Produits Dentaires SA has been able to evolve over the decades thanks to its capacity for innovation. The company has always remained family-owned and the third generation continues today to do everything possible on a daily basis to provide solutions that meet the needs of dentists around the world.

Proud to carry the “Swiss Made” image of quality and innovation internationally, Produits Dentaires SA perfectly embodies the fundamental values of Swiss industry.
It is also one of the founding members of the Swiss Dental Industry Association, created more than 60 years ago, and which brings together dozens of manufacturers, most of them internationally recognized.
In total, the company brings together around fifty employees spread over two sites: Vevey in the canton of Vaud where mechanical and laboratory skills are found – and Saint-Imier in the canton of Berne recently occupied by plastic injection .
Their first flagship product, the MAP System
Our products meet the specific needs of different types of dental professionals, ranging from general practitioners to endodontic specialists through solutions such as access cavities, irrigation/disinfection, obturation and restoration. It is at the foot of the Swiss Alps that the company has taken advantage of an exceptional environment to develop. The proximity of a dense industrial network bringing together unique skills, as well as reference academic centers, has allowed the company to surround itself with highly qualified personnel.
The MAP System is considered by most practitioners to be the gold standard for the placement of MTA and other obturation materials. The manufacturing of each part is particularly careful and the quality controls are sufficiently thorough to meet the challenges of placement in most clinical indications. Many users still have the same Kit within their practice.
Irriflex ® , innovation for irrigation
The latest innovation introduced by Produits Dentaires is an irrigation cannula made of polypropylene and therefore, therefore, flexible. It took no less than six years before putting IrriFlex® on the market as the large-scale industrialization of such precise parts is a real challenge.
IrriFlex ® “shakes up” the market for irrigation needles which were historically metallic. With this launch in particular, Dental Products has initiated close collaboration with experts in many countries in order to better understand the evolution of the international dental field and the future challenges of practitioners. Interpreting clinical needs for innovative products to improve the quality of care is our greatest source of motivation.
All together, we contribute to the evolution of dentistry for the well-being of patients around the world. Our presence at events and conferences has been strengthened and our communication tools have been adapted for our commercial partners but also our users.
