A company imagined by dentists
ZARC4ENDO is a young company, born in January 2021. Their story deserves to be told because it is a great example of what the capacity and enthusiasm of dedicated professionals can do to develop and offer products/instruments for their profession and the health of their patients.
Fortunately, this is neither the first nor the last time.
The Zarc adventure was born thanks to 4 Spanish endodontists, José María Aranguren, Rafael Cisneros, Francisco de la Torre and Roberto Estévez.
Their idea was to develop new canal shaping instruments, with two objectives:
- Simplify endodontic procedures
- Secure these procedures
What started as a coffee shop conversation, quickly became a lively discussion; to achieve these objectives, many changes were necessary and would plunge them into somewhat risky uncertainty.
After conducting a series of studies that provided them with more information about development and innovation needs, they found that it was ultimately an unattainable project for them.
They then approached a Spanish distributor who, after learning about the project, thought it was worth investing in, providing the necessary means and experience so that the illusion could become reality.
The list of objectives then grew and they noted:
- Add value to the professional who does endodontics.
- Ensure the lowest possible price to facilitate its adoption by all professionals in the country or around the world even if their purchasing power is much lower.
- That profits, once generated, should be reinvested in further development that will add value to the professional and their patients.
Taking into account these important postulates, he accepted the industrial challenge of materializing the project and transforming the new and innovative proposals developed by these professionals into tangible products and the company Zarc4Endo was created by the industrial partner.
Seeking state-of-the-art development infrastructure with the ability and willingness to test new ideas, metallurgical changes, tapers, etc. began manufacturing a system that met expectations.
Very rapid development
After only 8 months, the first BlueShapers prototypes came off the machines and were sent to the first testers.
After the first limited production, preclinical testing and mass production specifications were confirmed. These validations made it possible to obtain marketing certifications in Europe and the rest of the world.
Since then, ZARC4ENDO has gradually expanded its range of instruments with the SLIMSHAPERS, a minimalist shaping instrument, and the EXCALIBUR, a reciprocal shaping instrument.
These instruments are complemented by Gutta cones, paper cones. The sliders, motors, apex locators, etc. will follow.
Development with affiliations
In 2022, Zarc joins forces with the American company Avalon and obtains the distribution of their filling products (Neo Sealer Flow, Neo Sealer Putty and NeoMTA2) which will be distributed in France from October 2022.
Faithful to their commitment, profits are reinvested which allows them to expand their range of products. They then signed an agreement with the International Dental Institute and participated in the development of SysAct, which is set to “revolutionize” root canal irrigation based on micro and nano bubble activation developed by Dr. Anil Kishen (2018). )
Eighteen months after its creation, Zarc products are distributed in more than 15 countries around the world. The expansion of their business is astonishing, despite their ongoing obsession with the quality of the products they develop, produce and market.
