Hot gutta obturation remains the reference technique in endodontics.
It is carried out in two stages. A stage called "descent" which consists of creating an apical plug of gutta percha of 4 or 5 mm.
The remainder of the canal can be filled with injected warm Gutta percha.
These flexible, heated needles allow the delivery of warmed gutta in direct contact with the apical plug.
