Blueshaper gutta cones are calibrated to the BlueShaper shaping system instruments.
They therefore have a taper of 6% and tip diameters of 20 25 30 35 40 respectively for the Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6 and Z7.
This gutta was developed by endodontists who practice hot gutta obturation.
Its composition is therefore perfectly suited to hot or thermomechanical compaction techniques.
They are also particularly recommended for single-cone obturation used in combination with bioceramic.
However, they are too rigid for the cold lateral condensation technique.

Regardless of the obturation technique chosen, the gutta-percha cone remains the main element of root canal obturation. BlueShaperPro cones have been developed by endodontists practicing warm gutta obturation, to perfectly fit the instruments in the BlueShaperPro ZARC range.
Precise sizing for each instrument Each cone is sized to the corresponding BlueShaper instrument: 6% taper and tip diameters identical to those of Z3 to Z7 instruments. The cone naturally adapts to the prepared shape, without any adjustment needed.
Three compatible obturation techniques
- Single cone with bioceramic: recommended, fast and effective technique
- Warm vertical compaction: optimized composition for warm gutta
- Mechanical thermocompaction: perfectly suited
These cones are too rigid for the cold lateral condensation technique — they are not recommended for this indication.
