Product information

By Stéphane Simon

The E89 insert is one of three inserts provided in Dr. Terrauchi's extraction kit.

Its tip is flattened, in the shape of a duck's beak. In the protocol, when the instrument is partially released, the tip of the E89 insert is placed between the fragment and the dentinal wall, outside the curvature of the root canal.

Once inserted, the insert is activated and the fragment is thus released and mobilized, much more easily than with conventional inserts.
