These cutters have incredible cutting efficiency on all materials (ceramic, precious, non-precious or semi-precious metal) with the exception of Zirconia. Talon cutters made of tungsten carbide and cut from the solid (without welding) have unmatched cutting efficiency and, above all, very good fracture resistance.
It is recommended to use these burs with a high torque rotating instrument such as a red or orange ring contra angle and not a turbine.
Cutting efficiency is optimized with an attack angle of at least 30° relative to the section plane of the prosthesis to be removed.
The Talon cutter cuts even the hardest materials very quickly and requires no pressure on the part to be deposited - the rotating instrument is therefore subject to very little stress and is preserved.
