Description
EDMax root canal shaping instruments are instruments with constant taper (4 and 6%).
Their uniqueness is that they are manufactured not by grinding, but by Electro-erosion which is a concept of removing metal by a wire, without physical contact with the metal part "to be sculpted".
The originality of this production concept allows to drastically eliminate the stress induced on the metal by grinding . The instruments therefore do not present any micro-cracks linked to the manufacturing process, which gives them a very strong improvement in resistance to fracture by torsion and fatigue.
This manufacturing process allows for all possible file shapes to be imagined. It also allows for a rough surface to be created on the instrument, which gives it an abrasive power in addition to its cutting effect.
EDMax instruments are an evolution of the first Neo NiTi range designed and manufactured by the Neolix company.
These instruments with constant taper have very significant flexibility, excellent resistance to fracture and above all a very pleasant possibility of plastic deformation.
The instruments offered are:
- in 2 lengths 21mm, 25mm
- in 2 conicities (4% and 6%)
- in 2 apical diameters (20/100, 25/100)
They can be completed by the use of Finishers (30 and 40/100 apical diameter)
Use in continuous rotation 500 rpm and torque control 1.5n/cm
Supplied in blister packs of 4 - non-sterile.
Made in France by the company Néolix
