Whether in endodontics or restorative dentistry, correctly placing the perforation points for the dam is a valuable aid in correctly positioning the operating field.
There are many guides available on the market, but the Pac Dam recommended by Style Italiano has the double advantage of being both effective and fun.
Position the Pac Dam head in the corner of the dam sheet and the perforation points position themselves. Two seconds, and the perforations are ideally placed.
Instructions for use in endodontics
1) Align the corner of the Pac dam head with the edges and corner of the dam sheet
2) Using a felt-tip pen or ballpoint pen, mark the point(s) corresponding to the tooth to be isolated.
3) Perforate the dam at the locations drawn with the Ainsworth clamp
