Developed by Style Vitaliano Endodontics, the Retreaty kit is simple to use.
It is sometimes complicated to memorize the instrumental sequences. To facilitate the exercise, Style Italiano Endodontics had the idea of naming the instruments by an avatar. Thus the sequence of retreatment of a tooth is as follows:
- Use the Bull-Y file to unobturate the canal up to approximately 2/3 of the root
- Then use the Skinn-Y file to finish shaping
- Pass the stops with a handfile and determine the working length
- Then use Shap-y 1 and shap-Y 2 to shape the canal.
- Finish shaping with Shap-Y3 if the foramen is greater than 25/100.
Finishing the preparation with Shap-Y1 the shaping is 25/100 5% taper.
Finishing with Shap-Y3, the preparation is 30/100 and 4% taper.

- Shap-Y 1 - Diameter = 20/100 - Taper 5%
- Shap-Y 2 - Diameter = 25/100 - Taper 5%
- Shap-Y 3 - Diameter = 30/100 - Taper 4%
Use in continuous rotation. Recommended rotation speed: 400 rpm. Torque control 3N/cm
Supplied in sterile blister packs
Single use of these instruments is recommended.
